Step into a rewarding opportunity as a full-time general education teacher for an onsite middle school math position, running from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027. You’ll work closely with general education students, alongside occasional collaboration with special education staff to support all learners’ needs. This contract role offers a structured workweek of 35 hours, Monday to Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active teaching certification/licensure applicable to middle school math
- Bachelor’s degree required; those without an education degree must qualify for an emergency teaching permit
- Demonstrated mastery of subject matter, instructional techniques, and curriculum resources
- Prior success teaching in a school setting, with strong classroom and behavior management skills
- Experience working in urban or diverse educational environments
- Familiarity with state and district standards for lesson planning and instructional delivery
- Must complete all required PA clearances before the start date
- Reliable transportation to the worksite is necessary
- Comfortable adapting to district policies and the school’s location
- Must be available for Zoom interviews
