Summary:
The QTI Group is recruiting for a CNC Machine Setup Operator for a Manufacturing company in Pewaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and doing routine program checks on CNC Mills and Lathes. This is a contract to hire opportunity on 2nd shift.

Responsibilities:
*
Set-up, check routine programs, operate and adjust automatic or semi-automatic numerically controlled machine tools and or/ CNC
*
Machining equipment to perform standard or repetitive sequences of operation
*
Recognize tool and fixture applications and proven program format
*
Follow detailed part drawings and specifications regarding applications, coding, arrangements and settings
*
Note and report variations from specifications
*
Recommend tooling arrangements, fixtures, operation sequence, etc.
Qualifications:
*
Three to Five years’ experience in CNC setup, tool changes, and program edits
*
High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
*
Basic Mathematical and blueprint reading skills
*
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
