Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Reach Truck Forklifts and other heavy equipment to efficiently handle materials and ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate Reach Truck and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle materials using RF scanners for inventory management.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, particularly cherry pickers.
- Experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with crane operation is a plus.
- Knowledge of RF scanner usage for inventory tracking.
- Ability to operate clamp trucks effectively.
- Strong for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
