High School Special Education Paraprofessional (Part-Time, 5 hrs/day)
2026-2027 School Year
Paraprofessional for special education students grades 9-12 with skills including, but not limited to:

Excellent communication skills
-
Implementing modifications and accommodations provided by the special education teacher per the IEP
-
Reinforce lessons by reviewing material one-on-one and in small groups with students
-
Experience working with individuals who display challenging behavior
-
Behavior support which includes physical management (training provided upon hire)

Reinforce teacher instruction
-
Carry out behavioral plans
-
Collect data on student achievement and behavior
Terms of Employment:
-
5 hours per day, 184 working days per year (school calendar, September - June)

Position is subject to the conditions of the Manasquan Education Association collective bargaining agreement.

Annual Salary Range: $25,530 to $26,362.

General Description of Benefits: No Benefits Are Included with this Part-Time Position as per the MEA collective bargaining agreement.
