Duties
- Engage with members and guests to understand their fitness aspirations and recommend tailored personal training programs.
- Promote personal training packages and fitness services confidently, highlighting benefits and features.
- Conduct fitness assessments, including biomechanics, physiology, and body mechanics evaluations, to determine client needs.
- Assist in program design by applying knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to create effective workout plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health club offerings, group fitness classes, and fitness trends to enhance sales conversations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, manual handling, and heavy lifting guidelines during client interactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
Experience
- Prior experience in fitness sales or health club environments is highly desirable.
- Background in sports coaching or teaching physical education demonstrates strong coaching and communication skills.
- Knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics enhances your ability to design personalized programs.
- Certification in CPR, AED operation, first aid, and liability insurance is preferred to ensure safety standards are met.
- Experience with group fitness instruction or personal training enhances your ability to motivate diverse clients effectively.
- Familiarity with gym operations, health club procedures, and fitness customer service principles is advantageous.
