Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and very detail-oriented Security Dispatcher to join our team. This critical role involves coordinating communication between security personnel, emergency services, and management to ensure prompt and effective responses to incidents and routine operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming calls, including emergency and routine communication.
- Maintain constant communication with supervisors, mobile patrol officers, offering guidance and support.
- Dispatch security personnel as needed and track activity in real time.
- Document incidents accurately and assist with administrative tasks.
- Operate communication tools (phone, radio, computer systems) efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in dispatching or security operations is a plus but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in computer use and familiar with security systems.
- Knowledge of emergency response protocols is a plus.
Must be available to work swing shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
