We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team. We are a small sit-down Korean restaurant, and every kitchen staff takes care of everything needed for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, dishwashing, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed.
The pay will start at $15, after probation it will be $16. It will increase more depending on how fast you learn and pick up additional responsibilities.
Weeknights availability are a must. 2 - 3 shifts available. More hours available depending on how well you do.
Some English required. You should be able to understand and read basic English. Spanish or Korean a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of food items.
- Wash dishes.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Assist in the cleaning and stocking of kitchen supplies.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the restaurant for service.
- Assist in the storage and inventory of food items.
