Job Description:
This position requires a clinical background and experience with the instruction of Medical Assisting students. Experience with patient advocacy, documenting lab procedures, sterile tray, patient histories and examinations, patient charting, cleaning of surgical instruments for autoclave use, wound care, and infection control are required. Course content must be within the Standard of Care for a Medical Assistant in New York State.
Requirements/Required & Preferred Credentials:
- Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College or University.
- Clinical experience in the use of surgical instruments, sterile tray, PPE, medical charting, vital signs, and professionalism.
Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
