Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales
- Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for accurate change
- Monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible serving in accordance with legal regulations
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or special functions by providing excellent service and supporting food handling procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender or in food service is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales tracking, and restaurant math for order accuracy
- Experience with brewing or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Must be at least 21 years old (or age required by local laws) and hold any necessary food safety certifications
