Overview
Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Part-Time Maintenance Technician! Duties
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC components
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues utilizing schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Conduct welding repairs and perform basic residential painting tasks to maintain facility aesthetics
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and adjustments
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks
- Read and interpret schematics to accurately diagnose system problems and implement effective solutions
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met and work is completed efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related manufacturing environment with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems such as PLCs
- Hands-on welding experience with proper safety procedures
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including the use of Ohmmeters for testing circuits
- Supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance or facilities management preferred
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and internal clients
- Ability to read and speak English fluently for clear communication and documentation
