PAY INCENTIVES:

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000, payable during the pay period following successful completion of 90 days of continuous employment

Retention Bonuses: Two additional $500 bonuses paid at 6 months and 1 year of employment, contingent upon active employment and good standing

POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the HR Manager and supports the HR Team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining positive employee relations and work to ensure worker satisfaction through education on HR policies and by fostering a positive work environment. A Human Resources Coordinator should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and most importantly personable and approachable.
***This role is on-site Monday-Friday.
Primary Responsibilities include:

Coordinate and handle various transactional activities associated with the day-to-day activities for Human Resources – including but not limited to unemployment claims, medical support notices, verifications of employment, payroll change requests, payroll, discrepancy forms, badge requests, HR mailings

Coordinates completing new hire/termination paperwork, onboarding and offboarding employees into and out from various systems and platforms;

Submits IT tickets requesting access/terminations for new users, changes in profile, etc.

Assist with onboarding meetings and processes

Assist with weekly Payroll by ensuring timecards and time off are approved by 10 am each Monday

Scans and uploads documents into electronic employee files
-
Assist with attendance points and tracking
-
Facilitate benefit enrollments, provide support during open enrollment and new hire enrollments

Process invoices for HR department vendors
-
Runs weekly reports of agency employee hours and for agency payroll/billing
-
Data entry of and maintenance to agency employee information in UKG
-
Proctors candidate assessments following vendor protocols
-
Monitors inventory of supplies, such as, badges, bottles, label tape, etc. and requests purchases as needed

Assists HR team with scheduling; including but not limited to training, meetings, and lunches
-
Coordinates offsite plant activities as well as onsite plant meetings
-
Ad Hoc reporting as needed
-
Maintains a high level of confidentiality in daily tasks
-
Communicate updates via texting program for inclement weather and other announcements

Support the HR team with projects related to strategic initiatives and objectives

Serves as backup to the HR Generalist

Performs other related duties as required and assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required Qualifications
-
1-2 years experience HR Administration or business office experience
-
Associate degree (A.A) or two years of college study in Human Resource Management or Business Administration

Intermediate skill level with MS Office Programs
-
Experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) such as ADP
-
Effective written and oral communication skills
-
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently
-
Detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task

Ability to maintain confidentiality
Additional Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management

1-2 years of recruitment experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting.
FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at the waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.
OCCASIONAL: Squatting, kneeling, reaching above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 20 – 35 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.
VISION: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.
HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
