As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the doctors in the care of our patients. You will be responsible for completing a preliminary information gathering and screening of the patients. You will have to complete all assigned tasks accurately, in a timely manner, and honestly. As we value teamwork, the cooperation and integration of all employees is crucial to our success. Bilingual speakers of English and Spanish are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records and insurance reports
- Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
- Assist during medical examinations and procedures
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
- Degree in medical assistance

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
