The Assembler / Large Valve position is responsible for assembling large ball valves ranging from 2 inches to 48 inches. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to meet production standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

your challenge
o Assemble large ball valves according to standard methods and operating procedures.
o Operate various air tools and overhead cranes to handle heavy components.
o Test valves to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
o Stamp and assemble nameplates and unit numbers accurately.
o Secure valves to pallets and prepare for packaging.
o Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
o Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
o Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
requirements.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds or higher with assistance.
- Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, and reaching required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to operate overhead cranes and forklifts (training provided if needed).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to use air tools and test valves.
- General knowledge of valve components and assembly processes.o Ability to follow instructions and meet production goals.
- Willingness to change tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Familiarity with precision instruments and ability to read blueprints.
- Effective communication across departments.
- High attention to detail and ability to escalate issues
- Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.

Tasks require attention to detail, use of hand and power tools, and following standardized procedures.
The role may involve standing for long periods, repetitive motions, and lifting moderate-weight components. Employees are expected to wear required PPE and follow all safety guidelines. compensation and benefits
A Valve Assembler training rate starts at $18.25. This role will observe our company’s 12 paid holidays, generous paid time off and competitive full suite benefits package.
