We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for managing a crew tasked with maintaining outdoor spaces such as gardens, lawns, and other properties to ensure they are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. This is a full time, year round position with continuous work during the winter months.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining outdoor spaces by mowing grass, removing weeds, trimming bushes
- Planting flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Spreading material such as mulch and stone
- Operating lawn maintenance equipment such as mowers, blowers, and trimmers
- Driving the landscape truck to and from jobs
- Report to management on job and team performance
- Ensure the job is completed in a timely manner and high quality of work
- Communicate with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the services provided
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Required)
- Professional landscape experience (Preferred)
- Previous leadership experience (Preferred)
- Ability to drive truck through city streets
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Familiarity with operating lawn maintenance equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow directions reliably
