Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, test components and systems, use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of further work if needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Ensure customers' cars are kept clean
- Maintain an orderly and clean work stall
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- 2 years experience as an auto technician, flat rate experience
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
