Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Director of Restaurants to lead our culinary and service teams with enthusiasm and precision. This pivotal role involves overseeing multiple dining outlets, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, managing day-to-day operations, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, team leadership, and hospitality operations, with a focus on delivering memorable dining experiences across casual, fine dining, catering, and bar settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate restaurant teams to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including shift management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow across all outlets.
- Manage food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies.
- Train staff on food safety procedures, customer service excellence, and operational protocols to foster a high-performance team culture.
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost control while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food production and kitchen operations.
- Extensive supervisory experience in hospitality or restaurant environments with demonstrated team leadership skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling and basic math is essential.
- Experience managing diverse dining formats including casual dining, fine dining, catering, banquet events, or bar settings.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, inventory control practices, and food industry standards.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to interview, train, develop staff, and lead by example.
- Ability to analyze financial data related to budgeting and profit & loss performance for operational improvement.
- Hospitality management or culinary experience is highly preferred; assistant manager experience is a plus.
