Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Front Desk Associate to join the team at QC Pumphouse. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming, high-energy environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for fitness and hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in customer service, gym operations, or hospitality is preferred. Bilingual abilities and familiarity with multi-line phone systems are a plus. The Front Desk Associate plays a vital role in member satisfaction and the overall daily operation of the gym.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with check-ins, day passes, memberships, and guest registrations
- Answer phones promptly and professionally using a multi-line phone system
- Handle member inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain accurate records of memberships, guest passes, and daily activity
- Support sales efforts by providing information on memberships, services, and promotions
- Keep the front desk, lobby, and common areas clean, organized, and presentable
- Coordinate with management and staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Uphold high standards of customer service, professionalism, and brand representation at all times
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or gym/front desk operations preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and confident demeanor
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Comfortable handling phone systems, scheduling software, and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle situations professionally
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Interest in fitness, health, or gym environments is highly preferred
