Are you someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes? We are looking for a STORE PRODUCT HANDLING SPECIALIST who plays a key role in ensuring our merchandise is received, organized, and ready for customers.
This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
As a Product Handling Specialist, you’ll help ensure products more efficiently through our warehouse and store locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming merchandise
- Stocking and locating products within the warehouse
- Inspecting merchandise for quality and proper labeling
- Maintaining accurate inventory records using our computer system
- Matching packing slips to purchase orders and reporting discrepancies
- Assisting with inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits
- Maintaining documentation for incoming shipments, transfers, and deliveries
- Supporting customer pickup orders and assisting customers when needed
- Operating warehouse equipment such as compactors/balers (training provided)
- Identifying and reporting damaged merchandise that may need repair or touch-ups
- Maintaining organized records and logs for productivity and receiving activity
- Supporting general warehouse operations and administrative tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately count inventory
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and customers
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and customer service mindset
This is an active, hands-on role. Candidates must be comfortable with:
- Lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs alone (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders throughout the shift
- Ability to work in heat and cold conditions
