Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Teacher Assistants to join our ministry team. This position is ideal for individuals who feel called to serve in Christian education and enjoy working in a structured, supportive classroom environment. Teaching experience is preferred but not required — what matters most is a love for children, a teachable spirit, and a desire to serve with excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in maintaining an organized and focused learning environment
- Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and encourage progress
- Assist with monitoring student work, grading assignments, and maintaining student records
- Help facilitate daily routines and ensure students stay on task and engaged
- Support classroom activities that promote both academic and spiritual growth
- Participate in prayer, chapel, and other ministry events as part of the school community
- Model Christlike behavior, professionalism, and a heart for service in all interactions
Qualifications
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the school’s mission and values
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or experience in education preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Dependable, flexible, and willing to learn
- A servant-hearted attitude and commitment to helping students reach their potential
