Compensation: $0.65/mi for regional trips, home daily linehaul runs paid by the trip $275 from IND to Chicago plus stop pay for each stop after the first stop
Overnight/Layover: $75.00
Detention: $30.00/hr.
Schedule: may start Sunday night or early Monday morning. 2 full days off per week, days off may vary this does not have a set schedule. Home every day most days.
COMPANY DRIVER Job Description:
This position will be a combination of home daily and overnights Trips may stay in the state of your home terminal for linehaul run to areas between Plainfield IN to Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville or any area that will still get you home the same day. The overnight runs (regional) will go to areas such as PA, Walpole MA, Memphis, Atlanta etc., the overnight runs are paid by the mile and will include detention and overnight pay.
$150.00 6th day bonus ($150 bonus paid for working a 6th day on top of their wages for that day)
$1000.00 Performance Bonus paid after 6 months of employment.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid CDL A
- At least 12 month driving experience
- Current DOT physical
- HAZMAT Endorsement
- trucks governed based on your performance and speeding habits. All drivers are expected to follow posted speed limits, Speeding is not tolerated at Pace.
Duties are to represent PACE AIR FREIGHT in a professional manner a frontline employee representative ensuring the clients shipments are properly transported in a safe and timely fashion from the point of pick-up through to delivery. The driver must have an understanding of the documentation requirements as well as be trained in the handling of climate-controlled shipments. Must also follow and adhere to all regulatory bodies
