Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for machined parts and weldments.

Inspect parts accurately and efficiently to ensure they meet quality standards.

Measure dimensions and tolerances, including run-out, concentricity, flatness, and perpendicularity.

Utilize measuring instruments such as height gauges, micrometers, and dial bore gauges.

Inspect incoming materials and purchased parts for conformance to purchase orders and specifications.

Conduct full inspections of first articles and generate in-process, final inspection, and non-conformance reports as required.

Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating effective time management and decision-making skills.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments to support manufacturing processes.

Maintain accurate and organized inspection documentation in accordance with company standards.

Assist with setup and qualification of machine tool positioning accuracy and repeatability, with experience in laser measuring systems considered a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years experience and/or training in a mechanical inspection environment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

Proficient in using measuring instruments such as height gauges, micrometers, and dial bore gauges.

Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is a plus.

Knowledge of both Metric and English measuring systems.

Experience with laser measuring systems is a plus.
