FULL TIME BILINGUAL MEDICAL FRONT DESK COORDINATOR
Position Goal
To be the first point of contact for TRS Health patients — scheduling their care, answering their questions, and making sure every visit, phone call, and follow-up leaves them feeling less worried and more taken care of. This role owns the patient experience at the front desk from first phone call through check-in and follow-through, and treats every patient like family.

· Schedule: Monday to Saturday
· Status: Full-time, front desk / patient services
Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required
· Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required
· Comfortable learning and using scheduling software, EHR systems, and multi-line phones; genuinely tech-savvy
· Prior front desk, medical office, or customer service experience preferred but not required
· Proficiency with EHR systems; experience with eClinicalWorks a plus

Scheduling & Check-In
· Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
· Check patients in, verify demographics and insurance information, and keep records accurate and up to date
· Manage the daily schedule and communicate delays or changes to patients and staff
Phones
· Answer incoming calls and route or resolve them — scheduling, billing, general concerns
· Make outgoing calls for reminders, follow-ups, rescheduling, and lab or refill updates
· Provide Spanish/English interpretation for patients, by phone and in person
Patient Questions & Follow-Through
· Field patient questions about lab results, testing, and prescription refills, and route them to the right clinical staff when needed
· Follow up until the patient actually has an answer — no dropped requests
· Be transparent with patients: explain what's happening, what's next, and what to expect, even when there's a delay or an unresolved answer
· Help patients feel less anxious about their visit, their labs, or their medications
Ownership & Growth
· Take ownership of problems at the front desk instead of just passing them along
· Learn new software, workflows, and processes as the clinic grows — training is provided, but curiosity is on you
· Flag recurring issues or friction points to help the team improve, rather than just working around them
· Support clinical and administrative staff so the day runs smoothly for everyone, patients included

· Genuinely motivated by seeing patients get better and feel cared for
· A team player who steps in wherever help is needed to take care of patients
· Comfortable working with uninsured, underserved, and immigrant communities in a compassionate, nonjudgmental manner
· Strong time management, multitasking, and record-keeping skills — including under pressure in a fast-paced environment
