We are seeking enthusiastic tutors in Sylmar, CA who enjoy working with High School Graduates at Barry J Nidorf School during school hours (8 hrs per day and 5 days a week). The tutors will help the students in various ways including academic tutoring, counseling, or college guidance.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Must be Patient, responsible and passionate about teaching
- Must have strong communication skills to educate and motivate young students
- Previous experience as a tutor for Trauma Tutoring is a plus
- Must be current credentialed teachers, sub-teachers with college AA, BA, MA degrees, or college students with a least 60 core units
- Must be able to provide proof of a current TB Test (within past 4 years) and a complete criminal background check with the DOJ and FBI
- Must be able to commit for at least six months of tutoring with our company
