Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros
- Maintain knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures when serving food alongside beverages.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to support banquet events or catering services as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in a fast-paced environment; fine dining or hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer brewing processes, and beverage presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Jonas POS or ClubEssential POS for processing transactions smoothly.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of beverage recipe development and mixology trends is highly desirable.
