- Safely operate trucks weighing over 26,000 lbs., including tankers, roll-offs, and vans.
- Transport and deliver waste materials and general freight.
- Complete pre-trip and required vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate DOT hours-of-service logs and load documentation.
- Secure cargo properly for transportation.
- Read and interpret bills of lading, manifests, and other shipping documents.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Obtain required delivery receipts and signatures.
- Report accidents, vehicle defects, traffic violations, or damage according to company policy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the truck, equipment, and PPE.
- 2+ years of current over-the-road tanker experience, including liquid tanker experience.
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
- Compliant Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) driving history.
- Ability to qualify for a DOT physical card and comply with DOT substance-abuse testing requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work 14-hour shifts, including additional hours and weekends as needed.
- Ability to travel overnight.
- Ability to safely use required PPE, including respiratory and chemical protective equipment.
- Ability to read and understand safety procedures, operating instructions, and related documentation.
