Warehouse - Office Assistant
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Warehouse Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our physical inventory and our digital systems. You’ll be the glue that keeps our warehouse office running smoothly, handling everything from receiving shipments and updating our Point of Sale (POS) system to keeping the space organized and running the occasional errand.
If you are someone who loves variety in their workday, possesses strong digital literacy, and doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves to get things done, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & POS Management
Receive & Verify Deliveries: Meet delivery drivers, accept shipments, and physically verify incoming stock against packing slips to ensure accuracy.
Data Entry: Promptly and accurately input newly received inventory into our POS system.
Shelf Stocking: Transport received goods from the delivery area to the warehouse shelves, ensuring items are organized and easy to find.
Administrative & Office Support
Google Workspace Management: Maintain clear digital communication and organization using Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets (for basic tracking), and Google Slides (for occasional presentations or visual guides).
Office Maintenance: Keep the warehouse office and common areas clean, tidy, and organized.
Store Runs & Errands: Take occasional quick trips to local stores for office supplies, hardware, or other urgent items.
General Clerical Work: Assist with filing, labeling, and other day-to-day administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Tech-Savvy: High proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides). Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a major plus, though we are happy to train the right person.
Organization Extraordinaire: Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot discrepancies in shipping manifests or inventory counts.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift packages (typically up to 30–75 lbs) throughout the day.
Reliable Transportation : A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for occasional local store runs is not needed, but would be a plus!
Communication: Clear, friendly verbal and written communication skills.
Self-Starter Attitude: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and keep yourself on track.
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
