Job Description: Dog Daycare Program Manager

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dog Daycare Program Manager to oversee and elevate the operations of our daycare program at our Parker location, ensuring a safe, fun, and enriching environment for our canine clients and their owners. This position is anticipated to start on May 1st, 2025.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management:
- Design and implement enrichment-focused daycare activities, promoting mental and physical stimulation.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs by maintaining proper staff-to-dog ratios and managing playgroup dynamics.
- Develop and enforce protocols for managing dog behavior, including assessments for new daycare participants.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and mentor daycare staff to deliver exceptional care and customer service.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Schedule staff shifts to meet operational needs.
Client Relations:
- Communicate with clients regarding their dog’s progress, behavior, and daycare experience.
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote daycare services and create educational content for clients.
Operations Oversight:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of daycare spaces, ensuring compliance with PACFA and other regulatory standards.
- Monitor and maintain daycare supplies, including cleaning products, enrichment toys, and training tools.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, incidents, and behavior evaluations.
Marketing & Outreach:
- Conduct site visits to partner businesses such as veterinary hospitals, pet supply stores, and grooming salons to build relationships and promote daycare services.
- Represent the company at local events, fairs, and pet expos to increase brand visibility and attract new clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that highlight the unique benefits of our daycare program.
Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for program improvement and expansion, aligning with the company’s mission to provide lifetime support for pets.
- Track key performance metrics, including occupancy rates and client retention, and report to leadership.
- Assist in pricing strategy and package development for daycare services.
Work Schedule
- Full-time salaried position with the expectation of either:
- Four 10-hour days per week, or
- Five 8-hour days per week.
Compensation
- Salary range: $40,000–$45,000 annually.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the dog daycare, animal care, or training industry.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of dog behavior, body language, and enrichment techniques.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in marketing or community outreach (preferred).
- Knowledge of PACFA or similar regulatory requirements (preferred).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
