We are looking for a Full-time cook who is flexible to work both our AM and PM shift, including every other weekend. This person will be cross trained to be a cook and a dietary aide. Prior experience would be great, but it is not necessary. We have great veteran staff who can train the right person!
Pay: starting at $18.00- $19.50/hr.
Hours:
- AM shift: 6am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday
- PM shift: 11 am to 7:30pm; Monday thru Friday
Responsibilities
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Cook food in various utensils or grillers
- Check food while cooking to stir or turn
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
