Estate Administration Paralegal
- Compassionate individual to work with family members toward administration of decedent's final affairs.
- Ability to take instruction pertaining to Estate Administration from multiple attorneys.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them in a timely manner to meet deadline requirements.
- Ability to maintain an organized and effective workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate in various forms: telephone, in person, email.
- Provide precise recordkeeping pertaining to estate transactional accounts.
- Prepare various documentation for presentation to clients; including but not limited to inheritance tax returns, accountings, and receipts and releases.
- Ability to travel to local courthouses and banks. Meeting with bank officials and executors to open and close various banking accounts. Prepare and set up probate appointments for executors.
- Meeting with clients in a one-on-one setting for explanation of various stages of estate administration.
- The ability to work as part of a team with respect for co-workers is strongly recommended.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Experience with Lackner 6-1 preferred.
- Job is proposed to be 35-40 hours per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
