Responsibilities or job duties:
- Perform finishing and grinding operations on metal or other materials according to specifications and work orders.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and grinding machines to achieve desired surface smoothness and dimensional accuracy.
- Inspect workpieces for defects, imperfections, or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments or repairs to meet quality standards.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or job orders to determine finishing requirements.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma/GED
- Valid DL
- Experience
