we are seeking dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide speech and language services to students with disabilities, k-12, in a school-based setting. The SLP will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs and promote academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies to address diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service records in compliance with New York State regulations and school policies.
Qualifications
- NYS Speech-Language Pathology License preferred.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with students with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and special education populations preferred.
- Knowledge of AAC devices and assistive communication technology is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
