My Fresh Basket is a market with selection like no other in Spokane: Fresh meats and produce from local farmers and ranchers; special breads from local artisan bakeries; locally roasted coffee made from fair trade, shade grown, organic beans, and so much more.
We are looking for friendly and customer focused employees to help us meet our mission and vision. What will you do?:
- Prepare produce for merchandising by bunching, tying, cutting and trimming.
- Maintain quality of the produce department ensuring we are adhering to state health regulations and making sure our customers are buying the freshest products.
- Greet customers and offers help Customers by answering questions and responding to requests.
- Clean, stock, rotate, and help to maintain all produce merchandise, etc.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Cut fresh fruit daily.
- Have knowledge of produce and can convey that to customers.
- Perform all other tasks as assigned.
Are you a good fit?
Ideal applicants will:
- Have previous retail experience, but all applications will be considered.
- Be able to work independently, have good attention to detail and provide friendly and efficient relations to customers and co-workers.
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and often exert up to 20 pounds of force to push, pull, carry, lift or otherwise move objects
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
- Have and maintain an active Food handlers certification
- Be at least 18 years old
