Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance backend systems within the banking or financial services domain. The candidate will develop microservices-based applications supporting core banking, payments, or financial transaction systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work on high-volume financial transaction systems
- Implement secure coding practices aligned with banking standards
- Integrate with Oracle/PostgreSQL and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD and cloud deployments
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
Required Skills
- 8+ years of strong Java backend development experience
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle preferred)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and multithreading
Preferred
- Banking/Financial Services domain experience (Core Banking, Payments, Trading)
- Experience with AWS/Azure
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS, SOX compliance
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
