About Your Role
As a Weekend Sales Associate at our Clayton location, you’ll be at the forefront of the customer experience during some of our busiest shopping days. You’ll welcome customers into the store, help them find the right products, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and create the friendly, elevated shopping experience Madison’s on Main is known for.
This position is specifically for candidates who are consistently available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome every customer with a friendly, professional, and engaging attitude.
- Ask thoughtful questions to understand customer needs and recommend the right products.
- Develop strong product and brand knowledge to confidently assist customers.
- Inform customers about promotions, new arrivals, and featured products.
- Build relationships with customers and help create a memorable shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and checkout area.
- Monitor merchandise and restock products as needed and where inventory is available.
- Help ensure product tags, pricing, and markdowns are accurate.
- Process customer purchases, returns, and other transactions accurately using Shopify POS.
- Follow company service standards, policies, and customer privacy expectations.
- Support the team wherever needed during busy weekend shifts.
What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Basic understanding of sales and customer service best practices
- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with customers
- Dependability and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Consistent availability Friday through Sunday
