Our 1 Wythe Avenue team is seeking Bartenders. The ideal candidate is a beer and beverage enthusiast who is excited to share their passion with a broad range of local and international guests. Across our Main Hall, private event spaces, and Rooftop Terrace, during daily service and private events, our Bartenders are the face of the Brooklyn Brewery brand and an integral part of daily operations.
Candidates should be comfortable performing a range of tasks and duties, including but not limited to:

Providing high-volume bartending and table service across multiple bar locations

Preparing and serving beer, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to house recipes and specifications

Checking identification and verifying age for every alcohol sale in accordance with house policy and New York State Alcoholic Beverage Control Law

Ringing up orders and processing payments

Leading 30- to 60-minute guest experiences

Bussing tables, running food and drinks, and properly disposing of and recycling waste

Assisting in the retail store as needed

Changing kegs, with the ability to lift or move 50 pounds or more preferred but not required

Cleaning bars, ancillary event spaces, and restrooms, including sweeping and mopping

Restocking supplies throughout the venue

Supporting private events and buyouts as scheduled

Remaining actively engaged in assigned tasks for extended periods

Creating and maintaining a friendly, welcoming, and safe environment for guests and staff

Must be at least 21 years of age

At least one year of bartending experience, with high-volume experience preferred

New York State-approved alcohol service certification, or the ability to obtain certification before the start date

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Strong background in hospitality and/or community engagement

Friendly and committed to making all guests feel welcome

Team-oriented approach and a strong work ethic

Developed knowledge of beer and the beer industry, or a genuine desire to learn

Ability to communicate clearly and engage effectively with guests while maintaining a friendly sense of humor

Fluency in another language is strongly preferred but not required]
Wednesday – Monday, closed Tuesdays. Variable hours and include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
The base pay range for this part-time role is $11.35 per hour plus tips.
