As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be the friendly face of our store, ensuring every customer has a paw-sitive shopping experience. Your role will go beyond the register—you’ll help pet parents find the right products, share knowledge about pet nutrition and care, and create a welcoming atmosphere for our pet-loving community.

What You’ll Do:
✔ Engage with customers – Greet every shopper with a smile, assist them in finding products, and provide expert advice on pet care.
✔ Handle transactions – Process sales efficiently using our POS system, ensuring smooth and accurate checkouts.
✔ Stock and organize – Keep shelves stocked, displays neat, and the store looking its best.
✔ Boost sales – Recommend products and promotions to enhance the customer experience and maximize sales.
✔ Learn and educate – Stay up to date on pet nutrition, toys, and supplies to provide valuable recommendations.
✔ Create a clean & safe environment – Maintain store cleanliness and follow safety guidelines.
✔ Work as a team – Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.
✔ Be a community neighbor – Build genuine connections with local customers and represent the store with friendliness and care.
✔ Go the extra mile – Offer help beyond the basics, such as carrying items to cars, suggesting services like grooming or delivery, and making every visit memorable.

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Pet retail experience is a huge plus! If you've worked in a pet store or have knowledge of pet products, we’d love to hear from you.
✅ Retail or customer service experience (preferred but not required) – If you love interacting with customers and making their day, you’ll fit right in!
✅ Great communication skills – Ability to engage with pet parents and recommend products confidently.
✅ Attention to detail – Accuracy in handling cash, stocking shelves, and keeping the store organized.
✅ Flexibility – Availability to work daytime hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
✅ A passion for pets! Whether you own a pet or just love them, enthusiasm for animals is a must.
