North Ocean Serenity is a new physician-founded behavioral health practice focused on integrating psychiatry, psychotherapy, and primary care. We are seeking a compassionate psychiatrist who wants more than just another clinical position—someone interested in helping shape a growing, high-quality behavioral health program.
This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to become a key clinical leader as our practice expands.
What You'll Do
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Collaborate with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, therapists, and primary care physicians
- Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to advanced practice providers
- Participate in developing clinical protocols and quality initiatives
- Optional opportunity to provide psychiatric consultation services to skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities
- Help establish an integrated model of behavioral and primary healthcare
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active New York medical license (or eligibility)
- DEA registration
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
