Duties:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other special needs.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration accurately.
- Monitor and manage behaviors using behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
The shift available is 7a-3p & 3p-11p
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing, or related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients of all ages.
