Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct repairs on kitchen equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other appliances to minimize downtime.
- Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and maintenance.
- Expertise in appliance repair, installation, and service technician practices across diverse equipment types.
- Proficiency with HVAC & appliance technology including air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen appliances.
- Ability to read schematics effectively for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues.
- Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical team members or clients.
- Construction experience is a plus for understanding building infrastructure requirements.
- Leadership qualities with the capability to guide junior technicians or team members when needed.
