At NSCC, we are always seeking a pool of qualified instructors to teach part-time, in person and/or hybrid/online, college level courses in the following areas within the STEM Division: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering Technology- Computer Science/Electrical, Engineering- Mechanical, and Mathematics. These positions are responsible for instructing and evaluating student progress in the classroom. Part-time instructors will also work closely with the full-time faculty and the dean in their leadership, development, assessment, and evaluation of curriculum.
Biology- The qualified applicant must hold a Master’s degree in biology or a related Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Biology.
Chemistry- The qualified applicant must hold a Master’s degree in chemistry or a related Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry.
Engineering Technology- Computer Science/Electrical: The qualified applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or similar field of study.
Engineering- Mechanical- Engineering- Mechanical: The qualified applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or similar field of study.
Mathematics- The qualified applicant must hold a Master’s degree in mathematics or a related master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics.
