Overview
Maggie's Restaurant is seeking a dedicated and versatile Hybrid Server/Supervisor to join our team. This role combines front-of-house service with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong food and beverage knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage daily restaurant operations seamlessly. Duties
- Greet and serve guests in a professional, friendly manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the restaurant, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Manage the floor during service hours, supervising staff and ensuring smooth operations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in processing food and beverage orders, including wine, cocktails, spirits, and other beverages.
- Possess a clear understanding of local and state laws regarding alcohol service to ensure compliance at all times.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and cash handling.
- Maintain knowledge of fine dining standards to provide an elevated guest experience.
- Support team members with their responsibilities as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure adherence to health regulations throughout all restaurant activities.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience.
- Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, spirits, and general beverage service.
- Experience operating POS systems and processing sales transactions efficiently.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction purposes.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise staff effectively during shifts.
- Understanding of local/state alcohol laws and responsible beverage service practices.
- Flexibility to work during restaurant opening/closing hours, including evenings and weekends and Holidays
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: $400.00 - $700.00 per week
