Job Description:
Primary function of this position is to commercialize sales and marketing programs within specified channel and to support channel-specific business building opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work within Channel Marketing team to identify, develop, commercialize and implement channel/customer specific programs (special packaging, promotions, events, marketing materials, flyers, brochures and displays).
- Support Channel & Product Team to develop and execute launch plans and marketing strategies for new product introductions/launches within channel of distribution.
- Collect/develop and analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal sources, customer feedback, and other sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth/decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes.
- Assist and develop Point of Purchase material and displays to increase sales at the customer level.
- Work with Channel Team and Field Sales to gain knowledge of customer interaction and sales process.
- Assist in the development of annual business plan for channel/customer. Conduct competitive market analysis to formulate recommendations for channel plan including advertising and promotional strategies.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, or Business.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a sales, and/or marketing.
- Highly organized and very strong, proven project management skills.
- Sound analytical skills and acute attention to details. Strong communication skills, persuasive and able to effectively communicate ideas.
- Proficiency in PC skills including MS Office and Internet usage is required.
- Ability to travel 30% of time.
