The Delivery Helper assists the Delivery Driver in the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of beverage products to retail customers. This role involves physical labor, customer interaction, and ensuring products are delivered and stocked according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading beverage products from delivery trucks
- Deliver products to bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience stores
- Transport products safely using hand trucks, carts, or manual lifting
- Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) standards
- Build and maintain product displays
- Verify delivery quantities and obtain customer signatures
- Provide professional customer service
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Help maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles
- Handle empty kegs, pallets, and returns
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous delivery, warehouse, or labor experience preferred
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy products, including kegs (with assistance)
- Frequent lifting of 25–40 lb cases
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
