Our Northern New Jersey agency is expanding into Connecticut and we're looking for a local professional who knows how to create opportunities through relationships, networking, and community involvement.
This is not a sit-back-and-wait-for-leads position.
We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, building partnerships, attending networking events, and becoming known within their local market.
If you're active in your community, involved in networking organizations, connected with local businesses, or simply know how to create opportunities where others see none, we'd like to talk.
What You'll Do
- Quote and close personal insurance business
- Develop relationships with real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and local businesses
- Participate in networking groups such as BNI, LeTip, Chambers of Commerce, and community organizations
- Create and execute grassroots marketing initiatives
- Become a trusted local insurance resource
- Build a referral-based book of business
- Follow our proven sales process and coaching system
Examples of Success
- Hosting quote days at local businesses
- Building relationships with dealership service departments
- Developing referral partnerships with lenders and Realtors
- Participating in community events
- Creating opportunities through local networking groups
- Becoming active in local Facebook and community groups
What We're Looking For
- Connecticut Property & Casualty License or Personal Lines License preferred
- Self-starter with strong networking skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Sales experience preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Coachable and motivated
Final Interview Requirement
Candidates selected for final interviews will be asked to present a simple 30-day Connecticut Market Development Plan identifying networking groups, referral opportunities, estimated costs, time commitments, and expected business development opportunities.
