Coremaker – 3rd Shift
Hours: 9:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Starting Pay: $23.00/hour + 20% Shift Differential
Position Summary:
The Coremaker is responsible for the safe and proper production of cores, copes, and drags using established patterns, procedures, and work instructions to complete required tasks.
This is a physically demanding position that requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive movements, including twisting, lifting, pushing, and using mallets throughout the shift.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safely produce cores, copes, and drags according to specifications and procedures.
- Follow work instructions and established processes to install chills, locators, vents, and risers.
- Pack molds with sand, season, and turn out finished product.
- Ensure all required procedures are followed, completed, and signed as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and obstruction-free work area.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and production standards.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, twisting, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Frequent twisting, lifting, pushing, and repetitive motion.
- Ability to safely handle tools and equipment, including mallets.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
