What You'll DoAccount Management & Growth
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of B2B customer accounts.
- Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending solutions.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territories and target markets.
- Prospect and engage potential customers to expand market presence.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve territory growth goals.
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Respond to customer inquiries, quote requests, and orders in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate pricing, quoting, and order fulfillment.
- Maintain positive customer relationships while representing the company in a professional manner.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Previous B2B sales and account management experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with mathematical calculations involving decimals, fractions, geometry, and trigonometry for quoting purposes.
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial sales, or the steel and metal industries.
- Knowledge of steel products and metal manufacturing processes.
- Experience with territory sales, customer retention, and new business development.
