Safety & Compliance Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Safety & Compliance Manager to lead safety initiatives across a growing industrial services organization. This position will be based out of our Fort Lauderdale, Florida office and requires extensive travel to branch locations and job sites throughout the region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, experience leading safety programs in field environments, and the ability to communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support company-wide safety and compliance programs.
- Conduct jobsite audits, inspections, and safety assessments.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for field and office personnel.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
- Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
- Track and report safety performance metrics and key performance indicators.
- Lead safety meetings, committee initiatives, and safety awareness campaigns.
- Partner with operational leadership to continuously improve safety performance.
- Support customer audits and compliance requirements.
- Travel extensively to company locations and project sites to promote and reinforce a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety leadership role.
- Extensive experience in the construction safety field is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) is required.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
- Experience conducting safety training, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple locations and field-based operations.
- Professional safety certifications are a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
