Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to support our food distribution operations. This is a home-daily position, driving a mid-size refrigerated truck (GVW 19,500 lbs). The role includes both driving and warehouse-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a mid-size refrigerated truck for food deliveries
- Regional route between Charlotte and Cary (approximately twice per week)
- Regional route between Charlotte and NYC (approximately once per week)
- Additional shorter deliveries within the Charlotte area
- Operate forklift to load and unload products
- Ensure proper cold chain handling and temperature control
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain delivery logs and required documentation
- Follow all safety and food handling standards
- Support basic warehouse operations when needed
Qualifications
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License (CDL not required)
- Clean driving record
- Experience driving box trucks or refrigerated trucks preferred
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
- Experience with cold chain distribution is a plus
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
