Order Picker / Packer
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Order Picker / Packer to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, staging, and preparing customer orders for shipment. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP Business One knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle and move heavy materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and verify products according to customer orders and packing lists.
- Accurately enter, review, and process inventory and order transactions in SAP Business One.
- Pack, label, and stage orders for domestic and international shipments.
- Verify product quantities, part numbers, and order information before shipment.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
- Process goods issues, inventory transfers, and other warehouse transactions in SAP.
- Assist with receiving, put-away, and organization of incoming materials.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse and shipping area.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and carts.
- Lift, carry, and move heavy items and materials, potentially weighing 50+ lbs.
- Work closely with Shipping, Receiving, Production, and Logistics teams.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse, order picking, packing, shipping, or receiving.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP Business One is required.
- Ability to accurately enter and retrieve information in SAP.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to verify quantities and part numbers.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or plastics environment.
- Experience with SAP inventory transactions, goods issues, inventory transfers, and warehouse management.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
- Experience preparing domestic or international shipments.
- Familiarity with inventory control and cycle counting.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing 50 lbs or more.
- Ability to safely move boxes, products, pallets, and other warehouse materials.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and maneuver throughout the warehouse.
Schedule
Full-Time |
7am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who is physically capable, dependable, organized, and highly comfortable working in SAP Business One. This position requires someone who can work quickly while maintaining accuracy and ensuring that every order is picked, packed, and processed correctly.
Pay: $17.75 - $19.50 per hour
