Job Overview
We are looking for a Part-Time Cleaner to maintain a busy athletic and community center. You will be responsible for keeping gym courts, classrooms, common areas, and restrooms clean and welcoming for athletes, families, and community members every day.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, can follow a structured checklist independently, and enjoys working in an active community environment.
Duties
Daily Tasks
- Collect and replace trash liners throughout the facility (courts, classrooms, transition center, foyer, and outdoor areas)
- Sweep all gym courts and common areas
- Clean and disinfect restrooms — toilets, mirrors, and floors
- Restock toilet paper and soap dispensers
- Wipe down score tables, drinking fountains, and classroom desks
- Vacuum carpeted areas as needed
- Sweep the Cafeteria (upstairs)
Weekly Tasks
- Mop gym courts and hard-floor areas
- Move bleachers and vacuum underneath
- Clean behind basketball hoops
- Deep clean family restroom
- Dust gym corners, ledges, wall-mounted pictures, jerseys, and court dividers
- Remove cobwebs throughout the facility
- Wipe down doors, bathroom stalls, classroom chairs, and windows
- Clean and disinfect shelves and counters in classrooms and offices
- Clean elevator (wipe buttons, vacuum)
- Mop floors, where appropriate
